And this tip sheet from the FCC has great ideas that small businesses can use today, including links to their cyberplanner where small businesses can create custom security plans for free.

Also our friends at the BBB are offering a FREE program this April to help you learn how to protect your business from email fraud. Finally, call your agent to discuss the best Cyber Insurance options for your small business. That’s what we’re here for!

Storm Season for Smart Business Owners

Storm season is here in the Midwest. Hail, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and floods can all result in costly damages and claims to your business. Construction sites can be especially vulnerable to wind and water – check out this article from Traveler’s on how to prepare your job site before the storms hit. BeReady.gov and FEMA have created this app for quick weather updates on the go. Consider investing in a weather radio so if you lose power or internet you are still connected.
